In 1921, founder C.G. Johnson invented the upward-lifting garage door, and just 5 years later, the electric garage door opener was introduced in 1926. This was the beginning of the Overhead Door brand.
Johnson’s brand quickly gained a reputation for quality, service, and integrity. 100+ years on, our goal is to offer to our customers the same standards of high quality, extraordinary service, and integrity that C.G. Johnson based his company on.
